2026–2027 Season Audition

Colorado Dance Initiative invites dedicated and passionate dancers to audition for the 2026–2027 season. Our company is committed to cultivating technically strong, versatile artists through professional-level training, meaningful performance opportunities, and collaborative creative experiences.

Audition Requirements

• $35 Audition Fee

• Registration available upon arrival

• Dancers should arrive 15–20 minutes early to complete registration and prepare for the audition.

• Audition attire should be form-fitting and appropriate for movement, allowing faculty to evaluate technical proficiency, artistry, and performance quality.

Online Auditions

For dancers unable to attend in person, video auditions will be accepted through August 17, 2026.

Please include the following with your submission:

• Resume
A current dance resume outlining training, performance experience, and relevant programs or intensives.

• Headshot

• 2–3 Recent Dance Photos

• Dance Reel (10 minute maximum) including:

• Improvisation (minimum 1 minute)

• Contemporary Solo (2–3 minutes of choreography)
